Note: When creating a new FTP User, it must be unique to the server where your account resides. Common usernames such as admin or webmaster may already be used by another account on the same server.

When creating a new FTP User, you must assign it to an existing directory on the webserver. Assigning an FTP User to a non-existent directory will result in a login failure. A new directory will not automatically be created.
